Separation and concentration circuits are often where value is either recovered or lost. Small issues in classification, flotation, thickening or separation performance can flow through the entire plant, affecting throughput, product quality, water balance and downstream handling.
We focus on the details that matter in operation: how the material behaves, how the circuit responds to variability, and how each item of equipment fits within the wider process.
Process design and optimisation of flotation circuits, including reagent strategies, cell selection, air distribution and circuit tuning to improve recovery, grade and operability.
Design and optimisation of settlers and thickeners, including sizing, underflow density targets, flocculant selection, overflow clarity and water recovery.
Selection and integration of gravity concentration equipment, including spirals, jigs and centrifugal separators, with a focus on liberation characteristics, recovery and downstream handling.
Design support for wet and dry magnetic separation duties, including equipment selection, magnetic intensity requirements, feed preparation and circuit integration.
Design of classification circuits using cyclones, screens and related equipment to control particle size distribution, circulating load and downstream process performance.
Separation circuits need to work in the real plant, not just on a flowsheet. EMtek combines process, mechanical, structural, piping, electrical, controls and drafting capability to resolve the practical interfaces that influence performance, maintainability and reliability.
