EMtek is committed to implementing the highest standards of corporate governance.

EMtek’s Board of Directors is responsible for the Company’s corporate governance. The Board’s governing principle in meeting this responsibility is to act honestly, conscientiously and justly, in accordance with the law and in the interests of employees, customers, partners and other stakeholders.

EMtek’s senior leadership team brings deep industry experience to the Company and maintains a strong ethical climate. EMtek’s diverse and experienced Board of Directors provides overarching experience.

Good corporate governance is crucial for EMtek's long-term success and future growth. Our Board and Key Management Personnel play vital roles managing EMtek's organisational effectiveness and ensuring the same vision and objectives are achieved.

 

We adhere to the principles of:

- ACCOUNTABILITY - No matter what decision we take, we back it up. Our decisions have to be clearly communicated to all stakeholders to shape our understanding. Ideally, the decision-making process includes understanding the responsibility, identifying challenges and formulating a plan to address them.
- AWARENESS - The key to our Company’s survival and prosperity is to know the landscape of risk around us.
- DISCLOSURE AND TRANSPARENCY - We exercise openness and willingness to disclose truthful, accurate and timely information regarding the Company’s financial, social and political position to shareholders, stakeholders, consumers and the wider community.
- EQUITY AND INCLUSIVENESS - We provide opportunity for all stakeholders to maintain, enhance or generally improve their well-being, providing a compelling message about the reason for our existence and value to society.
- IMPARTIALITY - Our Board strikes a careful balance between our various responsibilities, the people who answer to them and the people they answer to.
- RESPONSIBILITY- Our Board is responsible for guiding the Company away from risk, around challenges and towards success while staying true to our mission, respecting the law of the land and the sensitivities of the politics around us.
