#  Chutes Detailed Design

  ### Project Scope

After previously completing studies to provide Fortescue with alternative solutions for blocked chutes resulting from sticky materials, EMtek provided detailed design and development of the selection option. This included replacing the micro-ledge design for an impact plate and lower chute insert arrangement for the industry-leading group.

 

### Major Work Inclusions

- Technical evaluation of the apron feeder.
- Detailed design, engineering and shop detailing.
- Modifications to existing transfer station structure.
- Review and re-positioning of the tail pulley.
- Integration of bin level and blocked chute detection.
- Functional specification for integration into the process control system.
