Project Scope
EMtek completed the detailed concept level engineering and design of the Western Crushing project for Fortescue, which included the new CV006 conveyor, CV005 conveyor upgrade and new H0P009 crushing facility. Detailed reviews, stakeholder engagement and procurement of long lead items occurred following the success of the mechanical engineering, design and electrical engineering completion. EMtek was subsequently granted approval to complete the detailed design of the 4.5km CV006 conveyor and upgrade to the existing CV005 conveyor. The detailed design of the Cloudbreak OLC for Fortescue was designed in 4 months and the total project delivery was less than 12 months to success.
