Project Overview and Scope

Nepean Conveyors was engaged to support the design and supply of the Maxwell Project Woodlands Drift and Development Conveyor. EMtek’s scope focused on the structural engineering, detailed arrangement and shop detailing for the conveyor head end at surface and associated stacker infrastructure.

Nepean Conveyors retained responsibility for the conveyor arrangement and mechanical design, including power and tension calculations, pulley locations, idlers, belt cleaners and associated conveyor equipment.

EMtek was engaged to provide the detailed structural design and documentation required to support fabrication and installation of the defined head end and structural scope areas.

  • Concrete foundation design
  • Structural calculations and material take-offs
  • Piping layouts and isometrics for washdown services
  • Shop detailing packages for fabrication
