  ### Project Scope

Recognised for their innovation in infrastructure and mining assets, Fortescue partnered with EMtek to complete the concept development and detailed design of upgrades to an in plant conveyor and associated chutes to improve overall performance. EMtek made modifications to the transfer chute by incorporating a rotable actuated impact plate/diverter gate in order to improve loading. Complete detailed engineering and design was performed for the transfer chute including structural modifications, integration of bin level and blocked chute detection systems, electrical integration and the functional specification for integration into the process control system.
