Project Overview and Scope
The Stage 1 Thermal Power Station at the CEFA Mid-West LNG plant near Mt Magnet, Western Australia, required detailed civil, structural, mechanical and piping design to support the power generation facility and its associated infrastructure. EMtek was engaged to optimise the concept design and deliver the detailed CSMP design package, including foundations, footings, trenching, structural supports, exhaust systems, ventilation systems, and associated gas, coolant, lube oil, diesel and oily water piping systems. The scope also included integration of vendor-supplied and free-issue equipment into the overall design, together with support for design reviews and HAZID/HAZOP processes.
Services
EMtek provided multidisciplinary engineering services across all disciplines. This included preparation of drawings, engineering calculations, datasheets, compliance and certification inputs, and 3D model deliverables required to support procurement, design development and project execution.
