Project Scope

EMtek were engaged by Newcrest to complete the feasibility phase and detailed design and engineering to IFC status of all works for the replacement radial stacker at Lihir.  The 70m long replacement radial stacker was designed specifically to suit the harsh and demanding operating conditions, with an increased capacity to 2,250 tonnes per hour whilst improving reliability and boosting productivity.

EMtek was able to complete the detailed engineering and design of the radial stacker with no disruption to the critical path of the project schedule or budget.  The intelligent design and precision engineering allowed for trouble free installation, minimising downtime and maximising efficiency.
