Key Responsibilities:
- 3D model development
- Preparation of design shop fabrication drawings to industry standards for structures, conveyors, chutes and other materials handling/processing equipment.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (e.g. civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) to develop shop details for a wide range of plant elements.
- Coordinate and review shop detailing packages.
About you
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a passion for discovery and a commitment to workplace wellbeing and safety. As part of a small, tight-knit team, strong relationship building, and communication skills will be critical in this role.
Skills and experience
- 5+ years of shop detailing experience in the mining and resources sector.
- Relevant experience in mining, minerals processing, and/or bulk materials handling industries.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations governing design in the Australian mining sector.
- Familiarity with shop detailing software packages such as Prosteel and/or Tekla desirable
- Good presentation and communication skills at all levels.
- Demonstrated understanding of industry safety and environmental standards.
