 Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and ownership of multi-discipline design projects.
  • Scoping and proposal development.
  • Manage all aspects of project controls including progress tracking, planning and scheduling.
  • Facilitate and participate in design reviews.
  • Support and collaborate with highly skilled designers and engineers to develop designs for a wide range of plant elements.
  • Prepare technical engineering documents as part of overall project engineering deliverables.
  • Visits to client sites as required.
  • Represent EMtek throughout the complete project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Maintain a safety focus through all aspects of work.

About you

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a passion for discovery and a commitment to workplace wellbeing and safety. As part of a small, tight-knit team, strong relationship building, and communication skills will be critical in this role.

 

 Skills and experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 7+ years of multidiscipline Project experience.
  • Exposure to Materials handling related design projects, in both the Greenfields and Brownfields space.
  • Detailed knowledge of materials handling industry.
  • Experience across a range of commodities, including gold, copper, lithium and iron ore, is favourable
  • Mechanical engineering design experience desirable.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, teamwork and time management skills.
  • Technical aptitude, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to think outside the box.
