Our assurance services can be integrated into an EMtek project or provided independently to review work completed by consultants, contractors and equipment suppliers. ### Our Technical Assurance Services #### **Engineering assurance and checking** We tailor the level of assurance to the complexity and risk of the work. This may involve checking calculations and models, reviewing drawings and specifications, assessing vendor submissions or confirming that technical requirements have been carried through into construction and commissioning. Drawing on multidisciplinary expertise across mechanical, structural, civil, electrical, instrumentation and control systems, we look beyond individual documents to consider how the complete design works together. Working with the people who will construct, operate and maintain the asset, we identify hazards and seek to eliminate or reduce risk as early as possible. Reviews consider the full asset lifecycle, including construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, modification and eventual decommissioning. Depending on the project, this may include Safety in Design workshops, HAZID and HAZOP studies, constructability assessments, isolation and guarding reviews, maintenance access reviews and residual risk management. Importantly, we follow identified risks through to resolution, confirming that agreed controls are reflected in the final design and clearly communicated to those responsible for delivery and operation. #### **Verification and certification** We provide disciplined verification activities to demonstrate that designs and systems meet their defined technical, safety and performance requirements. Depending on the scope, verification may include document review, independent calculations, model validation, inspections, test witnessing and confirmation that review actions have been satisfactorily closed. Evidence is captured through controlled records, providing a traceable path from project requirements to final acceptance.
