  ### Project Scope

EMtek welcomed the opportunity to engage with RCR Mining Technologies to undergo major works for the Silvergrass East (SGE) project located at the Rio Tinto iron ore Nammuldi Mine. As market leader in the design and manufacture of innovative, award-winning solutions and development of materials handling solutions, EMtek was proud to be engaged by RCR Mining Technologies for the engineering and design of a primary discharge overland conveyor (9km) transfer station and all associated infrastructure, which connected the Silvergrass East crushing plant with the existing Rio Tinto Nammuldi operation, including the implementation and integration of the plant control system. All engineering and design was additionally completed for the earthworks, concrete, piping, electrical and control systems for the primary crusher plant. EMtek completed the detailed engineering and design with no disruption to the critical path of RCR’s fabrication or construction schedule while in collaboration with the RCR Mining Technologies' construction team.
